On The Road with Allie and Shadow

Since I took down all the personal stuff from my website some of you complained that they missed the beautiful photos of our travels. I promise not turn this into a collection of family photos but will try to post some nice photos of the places we see along the way. I might, however, include some photos of Allie and Shadow who really do enjoy posing for the camera…..

Allie and Shadow looking for attention from anyone willing to pay attention

Allie and Shadow are definitely attention mongers and will do their best to get anyone and everyone they possibly can to come over and say hello. And trust me they are quite accomplished at “sucking up”.  This photo was taken when we were on a real vacation (doesn’t happen very often) where we did not have a show to go to and just went away for the fun of it.  Something we haven’t done in years….just a vacation and no work!

Their next big adventure is back to Arizona and their favorite dog park in the whole world.  I haven’t told them yet that they are going but the minute they step foot (paw) out of the coach when we arrive in Arizona I know for certain they will be bugging us to go to the dog park .  They say dogs live in the moment but trust me, it isn’t true….they do remember!

Ok, now let’s hear it….”awe, aren’t they cute!”

  • It’s a dog’s life! (and yes – they’re absolutely adorable!) Thank heavens my dogs don’t read blogs – I’d never hear the end of it. I hope the 4 of you enjoy many hours of fun at that favorite dog park!

  • Well Michelle, to tell you the truth while they while Allie swims in the doggie lake and Shadow is chasing balls and running in the water (he hasn’t figured out he can swim yet) Al and I are socializing with the people that are there.

So, it’s a win-sin thing. They get to run and play every day until they are exhausted and we get to meet new people and socialize.

The nice part is when we get back to the motorhome they are so exhausted that we can go out for the rest of the day and all they want to do is sleep. Resting up of course for the next day.

When we leave Arizona then they mope around the house until we leave for the Oregon Coast in July and we go through the same depression when we leave there.

I think we’re going to have to move to a beach ;)
